mediPlac GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Borchen. Since our founding in 2000, we have specialized in the development, production, and distribution of positioning and fastening materials for various niche markets in medical technology. One of mediPlac’s core competencies is the implementation of customer-specific requirements. Consulting in terms of design and functionality is our strength. Our in-house development department works closely with users and field staff on site. The development and manufacturing of mediPlac products take place exclusively in Germany. We intend to apply our many years of experience and the resulting knowledge exclusively in the field of medical technology. Consequently, we follow the motto: “HOMINUM SALUTI MEDICINAM EXERCENS” (For the well-being of people, in the service of medicine).
The goal of mediPlac is to quickly implement user suggestions and requests and to offer effective problem solutions of a high quality standard. The company’s main products are positioning aids for pressure relief and fastening aids for the operating room and diagnostic imaging, which are distributed to hospitals in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The product range is complemented by storage aids and technical fixations.
In the case of customer-specific requirements, close contact is maintained between the user and on-site staff. A risk analysis is carried out for each product to be manufactured, the result is communicated to the requester, and any proposed changes are discussed and taken into account. If the risk analysis reveals an unacceptably high risk for the patient that cannot be mitigated, mediPlac will not proceed with production.
