mediPlac GmbH has made it its mission to increase patient and user safety through the use of mediPlac products. Beyond that, we take on the responsibility of keeping our own CO2 footprint as low as possible and of acting as sustainably as possible.
Regional manufacturing
All of our development and manufacturing takes place exclusively at our site in Borchen in East Westphalia-Lippe. This means short distances and responsibility that we take on locally.

Recycling, energy & digitalisation
Recycling
Foam offcuts from production go back to the supplier, where they are reprocessed. Many shipping boxes get a second life with us: after internal inspection, we reuse them and label them with an adhesive sticker.
Energy generation
With our own photovoltaic system on the company building, we cover a large part of our electricity supply.
Communication & digitalisation
We are increasingly digitalising customer correspondence and information exchange: we prefer to send catalogues digitally, we sign emails digitally, and ZUGFeRD and XRechnung are standard for us.
